‘Krunk Fu Battle Battle’ now till June 26th!

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

Okay, so it’s not often that I see something that I highly recommend, but “Krunk Fu Battle Battle” is definitely worth checking out! I had the opportunity to see it back in May and I wanted to give my two cents.

For regular theatergoers, “Krunk Fu” is ambitious in scope, demanding that the actors dance, sing, rap and act all in one evening. For those who are new to the theater the show is a great introduction into the theatrical medium. With no intermission, “Krunk Fu” channels “West Side Story” and “Karate Kid” all at once. But more importantly, it is an awesome platform to see Asian American performers live on stage. Bboy dance moves, hip hop, spoken word, and original music…doesn’t get better than that.

Support the movement and be entertained! Kudos to my man Beau Sia and the whole creative team and catch it before June 26th!
