Lots of shows going on. I am so behind with my posts! Over the weekend I concluded Saturday’s celebrations at the Nite N Day Arts Festival, playing a set with my FULL band! It had been raining all day but when we got up to play, it was clear skies and a full moon. Thanks to everyone that came out to hear us RAIN or SHINE! Props to Phloe and Lowell!

AND mad love to the band. Landy, Leo, Pharaoh, Pranidhi, Nick: I love you guys!

Luminance RECAP!

So a week ago I went down to San Diego for Luminance @ The Loft – UCSD. It’s been such a crazy week that I haven’t had a chance to write about it until now. The show was blast! I had so much fun performing and I got to meet fellow artists Legaci, JR Aquino, and Jenny Suk. Even AJ Rafael made an appearance! Also a big CONGRATS to ISA Magazine for launching their first issue. May we see many more issues! Finally, I must give HUGE PROPS to Kane Diep, curator of the Luminance series. Kane’s vision for the show was all about empowering Asian Americans in pop culture. Thanks Kane, for giving us a platform, brother!

Luminance was the perfect cap to a crazy week. Multiple shows, and the 2 hr drive from LA to SD. Had such a good time meeting people afterwards, and even made it back to LA in time to walk the dog!

Happy Lunar New Year!

So I know the official day was February 14th, which is also Valentine’s, but Happy Lunar New Year just the same! Traditionally the celebrations last two weeks from the new moon to the full moon so it’s all good. This pic is of the lion dance that went on before my set last Sunday. With two shows and a third at Luminance in SD it was quite the insane weekend! Shoutouts to Sonny and Lowell for organizing the celebrations!

While CPAF didn’t win in the end, your support certainly helped raise awareness on domestic violence and sexual assault. Please visit their website: www.nurturingchange.org and see how you can make a donation or get involved with this great organization.

Much love and God bless.

Hey guys,

We’re coming down to the wire! Please click on the button below and vote for CPAF if you haven’t already. Help spread the word and raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault.

I know it feels like such a heavy topic, but check out this YouTube clip of Alison De La Cruz’s personal testimony. I can’t help but find her story incredibly moving and powerful.

Thanks for listening, guys. And much peace and blessings.
